Silverstream Industrial Park Limited owns 12 hectares of industrial land and buildings at Mosgiel near Dunedin.  Originally the complex was built in 1993 as the Fortex Silverstream Plant.  Latterly, Silver Fern Farms Limited have owned it and Scales purchased the complex in August 2008.  This is a well located, modern facility with multi purpose use as a coldstorage, drystorage and food processing factory.

Whakatu Cold Stores Limited

With six separate cold stores situated in the Hawke's Bay area to service the region's prolific meat and fruit industries, Whakatu Coldstores offers a total storage capacity of over 64,000 tonnes consisting of dual purpose chillers/freezers, blast freezers and controlled atmosphere rooms. All stores are licensed to comply with MAF and EU requirements.
